The midnight forest print pays tribute to a classic indigo palette. The ground is a deep navy - almost ink black, overlaid with a subtle printed windowpane grid giving the base cloth visual texture and depth without disrupting the pattern's flow.

The tonal plaid underlay reads like a shadow, grounding the composition in a quiet complexity.

Set against the background, the floral motif unfolds in a fluid all over trail - elongated lily like blooms with delicately detailed curving stems, fern leaves and loose berry clusters. The motif palette moves between silvery white and a softer mid blue creating a two tone layering effect.
